Learning and Development
Our learning and development offering is second to none – with programmes in leadership, health and safety, operational excellence, & performance excellence. These include support for personal development, professional qualifications, development aligned to career progression, and targeted leadership courses supporting emerging female, Māori and Pasifika leaders.
Free Industry memberships
- Become a member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) with Fletcher Living. NAWIC holds regular events, with a focus on both technical and professional development, to inform and up-skill women and to promote networking and information sharing for the betterment of the construction industry as a whole.
- As founding members of the Urban Development Institute of New Zealand (UDINZ) Fletcher Living supports UDINZ’s mission to bridge the gap between the public and private sectors removing barriers to quality urban design and development. All of our employees have access to membership.
Employee Education Fund
The Fletcher Building Employee Educational Fund (EEF) is a private trust fund set up to help finance the cost of our employee’s career-related studies, and development programmes. It can also be used to assist with eligible employees’ dependent family members and their educational funding, including tuition, tertiary scholarships and other developmental opportunities like Spirit of Adventure.
Long Service awards
At Fletcher Residential we are proud to acknowledge our employee loyalty and commitment by giving long-serving employees an award after completing each of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 years of continuous current service with Fletcher Building.
