We understand how challenging it can be for First Home Buyers to get onto the property ladder and so for a limited time we’re offering a Fletcher Living First Home Grant. Our Grant operates in much the same way as the Government’s First Home Grant worked. We know that there will be first home buyers out there who were working towards a purchase and had factored the Government’s grant in. We’re stepping in to help.

 

We have been building homes for Kiwis for over 113 years and understand the sense of security and community that comes with owning a Fletcher Living home. We love being part of helping customers into their first home and so are offering qualifying First Home Buyers, $10,000* towards their deposit for their first home when they make it a Fletcher Living one. Eligibility

To be eligible for the Fletcher Living First Home Grant, you need to meet the following eligibility criteria.

  • Be over 18 years old
  • Be a First Home Buyer (not currently own any property or land, including property owned by a spouse or de facto partner. Ownership of Māori land is not included)
  • Earned less than $150,000 individual and $225,000 for a couple, in the last 12 months
  • Purchase a Fletcher Living home or apartment that is within the regional house price cap (Under $875,000 in Auckland and Under $775,000 in Canterbury as applied under the government First Home Buyer Grant)

 

You will also need 

  • To be able to meet the deposit requirements to secure your home
  • Be buying a home for you to live in as your primary place of residence
  • Intend to living in the home for 6 months from settlement date

    Terms & Conditions 

    • $10,000 payment from Fletcher Living to be applied to your deposit (as detailed in the process set out below) when you purchase a Fletcher Living Property.
    • Limited to one $10,000 payment per binding Agreement for Sale and Purchase signed for a Fletcher Living Property
    • To qualify for the offer you must:
    • have entered into a legally binding Sale and Purchase Agreement to purchase a Fletcher Living Property after 24th June 2024 with a settlement date prior to Friday 1st November 2024
      • meet the criteria specified below and provide a statutory declaration to this effect in the form attached to your Sale and Purchase Agreement.
    • Unless Fletcher Living determines otherwise, this offer is not available in conjunction with any other promotion that Fletcher Living may be running concurrently.
    • By entering into a Sale and Purchase Agreement, you are deemed to have accepted the above terms and conditions.

     

    Criteria 

    To be eligible for this offer, you need to meet the following eligibility criteria and provide a statutory declaration to this effect in the form attached to your Sale and Purchase Agreement:

    • Be over 18 years old
    • Not currently own, or have a binding agreement to purchase, any property or land, including property owned, or any binding agreement entered into, by a spouse or de facto partner. Ownership of Māori land is not included
    • Earned less than $150,000 individual and $225,000 for a couple total before tax income, in the last 12 months
    • Purchase a Fletcher Living Property that is within the regional house price cap (Under $875,000 in Auckland and Under $775,000 in Canterbury)
    • Agree to live in your new home for at least 6 months

     

    Payment 

    • Payment of the $10,000 grant will be made by Fletcher Living, via its lawyers, to your lawyer’s trust account 5 working days after the later of the following dates:
      • You providing the statutory declaration detailed above;
      • You entering into a binding Sale and Purchase Agreement; and
      • Your solicitor providing undertakings that on receipt, that this grant will be held by your solicitor in their trust account and:
        • paid by your solicitor directly to Fletcher Living’s solicitor as part payment of the deposit for the purchase of the property if the Sale and Purchase Agreement is declared unconditional; or
        • fully refunded to Fletcher Living’s solicitor if the purchase does not proceed within 10 working days of the Sale and Purchase Agreement terminating.
